Summer Look of the Day #ootd

Wow, is it ever hot out there? I love this easy breezy look. This is usually just what I'm thinking about for date night or a girl's night in the summer. This look is fabulous because it combines so many of the neutral items we already have in our closets. Neutral clutch, neutral sandals, aviators,etc.. Paired with a loose, slip on sundress this look is effortlessly chic.

Favorite Things: Weekend Fun in Charleston

Re-entry has been a challenge after such a glorious girl's weekend in Charleston, S.C.. What a blast! Good food, good vino, buckets of laughter, and the best of friends. I feel happy, relaxed, and ready to return to real life. That's what it's all about, right?

Here are some of my favorite things from the weekend:

1. The Ordinary
Super chic decor, wait-staff, and fresh seafood. We had stuffed lobster and a seafood tower. It was gorgeous and so yummy.

One Happy Birthday Girl! It's a big one so I'm celebrating all month. My sweet friends kept surprising me at every turn.

2. The beautiful views

 Water changes everything.

3. Roberta Roller Rabbit Store

Fabulous tunics, tops, bedding, and fun tasseled jewelry at great prices.

4. Essie Hors D' Oeuvres

Love this nail color! This picture is a little intense (must be 5 coats). With just a couple of coats and some clear over-top it is a silvery gold and lightly sparkly.

5. The Obstinate Daughter

Sullivan's Island

The name alone makes it way cool (Revolutionary War history anyone?).  The food was delicious. Favorites: gnocchi and short-rib ragu, farro picolo, red snapper, and the roasted beets. I could eat here everyday.
