I love cooking at the beach. You can get everything locally and fresh seafood is divine. Here is one of my favorite meals we had this week: fresh local sautéed shrimp, black eyed peas with cherry tomatoes, butter beans, and sliced tomatoes from my garden in Virginia.
The key to yummy beans is to cook them in chicken broth slowly. I think I may repeat this meal tonight!
yum! I have to cook twice at the beach and am bringing one of Tracy's shrimp and grits casseroles. My family knows me well and won't be fooled if I try to pass it off as my own.
