This is what I love about fashion! It's all back in style: over the knee boots, little black dress, and cropped jacket are all just as fitting today as they were then.

This photo is from a LIFE Magazine pictorial spread on fashion in High School.  Love it.  You cannot understand the future if you do not know the past. Fashion is no exception. So much pictured here is still happening in fashion: mod dresses, straight hair, long layered necklaces, and patterned tights. 

So much has changed, but so much remains the same.

For our Throw Back Thursday we are looking at the gorgeous necklines of the 1950s. Wow. Designers in the '50s knew how to highlight the most feminine parts of a woman's figure. Stylist tip: the collarbone area is an asset to every woman. No matter what your shape or size, your collarbone is defined. Show it off with today's off the shoulder tops or vintage.
